1. Send a request
Email [email protected] with the subject “Wamin data deletion request”. Include the account email, business name, and whether the request covers an account, a particular business/group, or specific data. Group members without a Wamin account can describe the relevant group and their connection to the data without sending complete conversations.
2. Verification and follow-up
Operators handle deletion manually; there is currently no button that automatically deletes an entire account and all data. The team will verify identity, authority, and effects on other business members, then explain scope, retention constraints, and an estimated completion time. Additional identity evidence is requested only when necessary through an agreed channel. Do not send complete identity documents in your first email.
3. Stop new processing
Authorized owners/managers can pause or revoke a group in the dashboard. Ask the team to close account sessions if access needs to end. Export records you still need before deletion is agreed. Deletion in Wamin does not erase messages already received by WhatsApp group members or files they have downloaded.
Data that may be retained
The team may retain data needed for legal obligations, payment evidence, disputes, security audits, or duplicate-delivery prevention. Backups cannot always be edited individually and follow their retention and recovery controls. The team will explain retained data and the reason. Seven-day text cleanup is not deletion of accounts, ledgers, documents, or all backups.
Revoking the Google connection
You can remove Wamin from your Google account’s third-party connections using the link below. This is separate from Wamin data deletion and does not automatically end an existing Wamin session. Sign out of Wamin and send a deletion request if you want the account and data reviewed for deletion.
